Our mission
Our mission is to supply major multiple retailers in the UK and Europe with a reliable and sustainably sourced supply of jewellery and accessory brands, whilst maintaining their brand integrity and TLKE values. We focus on three core pillars of continuous improvement across our business - Environment, People, and Governance.
People
We are proud to work with a dynamic community of people, from those we employ to those in our supply chain and the wider community. Here’s our commitment to them:
TLKE is committed to developing an organisational culture that supports internationally recognised human rights as defined by the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
We promote equal opportunity and diversity across our team so our staff are able to work with dignity and respect. We are committed to running a business that is a safe, healthy and empowering place to be.
We only work with suppliers that share our values. This means they adhere to national legislation on working hours and fair pay, ensure employment is freely chosen, do not tolerate forced or child labour, uphold freedom of association and collective bargaining, prevent discrimination and harassment, and provide a safe place to work.

2023-25 Objectives
Create an empowering, supportive environment so our team can thrive at work
In 2019 we introduced our Employee Assistance Program, which is a confidential helpline covering topics such as emotional health, work life balance, well-being resources, and physical health.
We are also certified as a Living Wage Employer.
In 2023 we will create a formal employee wellbeing programme, ensuring 100% of our staff have access to paid wellbeing days.
give back to our local community
We have supported charities including Breathing Matters and Mind for many years, through annual staff fundraising events.
We want to ensure giving back to our community remains a priority for TLKE in the future. In 2023 we will commit to a formal charity partnership, which will include a regular donation and team volunteer days.
OUR COMMUNITY
We aim to give back to the people in our local community by partnering with charitable initiatives, running fundraising events and offering employee volunteer days.
Breathing Matters
TLKE support Breathing Matters in recognition of the support and medical care provided to the inspiring Ana Timberlake.
The aim of Breathing Matters is to support the Centre for Respiratory Research (CRR) in their commitment to find better ways to diagnose and treat respiratory diseases, but to also encourage patients, their families and friends to become actively involved (as advocates, advisors, fundraisers or even participants).
We as a business are committed to donating a percentage of our profits to help create awareness, assist patients and contribute towards the search for a cure for Interstitial Lung Diseases.
Mityana Charity
TLKE is pleased to support the wonderful work that the Mityana charity are giving families and children in Uganda; and making clear and measurable difference to people’s lives; and reinforcing our company values of family and integrity.
The Charity's aims are the relief of poverty, the advancement of education, the relief of sickness, the advancement of religion and the promotion of sustainable development in the area of Mityana, Uganda. Sustainable development means "development which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs."
Living Wage Accreditation
We are proud to announce that we are recognised as an accredited Living Wage Employer!
We are committed that all of our employees will be paid at least the Real Living Wage, which is higher than the National Minimum Wage. We also commit that pay will be increased in line with any living wage increases.
We care deeply about our people and are striving to ensure that TLKE is a fair and supportive place to work.
